"I am large, I contain multitudes"
—Walt Whitman
In Search on an "A" for Anama is an ongoing personal project that explores sistematic design in visual identities, as well as tool making applied to branding.
It explores how to represent the plurality of an individual's character through a living and recognizable mark.
The result, a logo system of 4096 instances made through a web generator.
One rule, 4096 possibilities:
Simplicity as a System
The mark is deliberately simple: the letter “A” formed by three rectangles. This minimal construction provides a clear and recognizable structure across its variations and at different scales.
The identity’s flexibility stems from a single parameter: the roundness of its vertices as an absolute value, round or not round (I/O).
This simplicity keeps the system intuitive and manageable.
The tool functions both as a practical application and a conceptual exploration. Through an interactive interface, users can generate, export, and experiment with countless variations of the logo, each one unique yet recognizable.
